Astrology Rising May 4 – 10

MONDAY, MAY 4 – Introduction

kaypacha5:30 – 7 pm (7:30 EDT)
Welcome & Introduction: What the #$%^& is Goin’ On? OPEN TO PUBLIC!

Let’s face it, as astrologers we knew that 2020 was the end of an old paradigm that would be paving the way for a new one.  While astrology gives us the “answers,” the devil is in the details. Just HOW we were collectively going to make this transition from one world order to another was more difficult to predict.  However, now seeing the additional ingredients added to our shared reality, Kaypacha will use both the astrological indications and his own perception, to see what lies on the road ahead (and when).  Join us for this opening talk to gain an overview of the more specific insights that will be offered throughout the rest of the summit.

6:30 – 7:30 am
Kaypacha · Virtual Yoga: The Basic Spinal Energizer Series

Age is measured by the flexibility of the spine: to stay young, stay flexible. This series works systematically from the base of the spine to the top. All 26 vertebrae receive stimulation and all the chakras receive a burst of energy. This makes it a good series to do before meditation. Many people report greater mental clarity after regular practice of this Kriya. A contributing factor is the increased circulation of the spinal fluid, which is actually linked to having a good memory.

Rick · The Future of Astrology
It’s one thing to use astrology to better understand the future. It’s something else to understand what astrology might be in the future. We can already see how astrology has evolved in recent decades with the advent of computers, the Internet, and social media. But recent developments are only the tip of the iceberg. Hold onto your hats; the astrology of the future might change everything you thought you knew.

Nadiya · The Great Conjunction: The Divine Meeting Of Jupiter and Saturn, in History and in Your Chart!

This fun and lively talk will explore what these 2 planets meeting in Dec 2020 will mean for us as a collective, as we look to the past for indications and forward for the enthusiasm indicated ahead. Ideas from Kepler and Jung and are some of what we will explore together. We will also speak about what the 2020 Great Conjunction will mean for each Sun, Moon, and Rising Sign.

Ari Moshe · Uranus, Spiritual Awakening and a New Activism
During times of great change, the most tempting thing to do is to look upon the world with old eyes. This yields no creative solutions and in fact leads towards more fear. When we begin to wake up to our true nature, a new potential for living and thriving becomes available otherwise not perceived. Indeed, spiritual awakening is the highest contribution we could render to the world! In this talk Ari Moshe will unravel the reality of self-realization contained in the Uranus signature and speak about how spiritual awakening is the most direct and relevant way to bring healing and change to this planet. He will also address the likelihood for sudden paradigm shifts on the planet to massively accelerate over the next several years.

Magic and Prayer may be what we need most in the New Age we are co-creating together now! This workshop will start with a philosophical and historical exploration, before moving on to more practical applications, including some basics of astrological Magic, and will teach Nadiya’s  “Planetary Prayers”. The second part of the workshop will be experiential. Nadiya will lead the group in a meditation to help you connect with a planet more deeply, followed by group sharing of our insights. Rick · The Jupiter, Saturn, Pluto Conjunction: It ain’t over till it’s over
Every few years, astrologers claim the most amazing transit ever is about to occur. But often the main event that’s associated with a major transit doesn’t happen until after the transit has passed. For example, the most significant changes associated with the Uranus-Pluto conjunction of 1965-1966 didn’t happen until 1968-1970. Currently, many astrologers are attaching great significance to the Saturn-Pluto conjunction on January 12, 2020. However, we need to understand this astrological event is part of a larger wave that culminates in an energetic shift from Capricorn to Aquarius, along with the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction at 0 Aquarius on the Winter Solstice of 2020.

Sol · The Soul & Magic: Neptune in a Globalized World
In a complicated world where knowledge is hard to verify and we live increasingly globalized world, staying sane and strong becomes challenged by an ongoing global anxiety and stress. Covid-19 has shown us that we have no boundaries and that we live under the same sky, on one level, as one people. More and more people are also becoming aware of their sensitivity. Neptune can be compared to our collective emotional body and we “feel” the tensions of earth, compromising our own spiritual immunity. In this talk Sol will shed light on these factors and show how to live, and live well in our Global Village.

Timothy · The Moon & Lunar Nodes: The Development of the Soul Through Direct Experience
The Moon in astrology is our own personal reference-point; Where personal emotional feedback allows for us to evolve and grow through processing and reflecting upon our first-hand experiences of life. Through observing the transits of the Moon, (which is the fastest moving celestial object from our position on Earth) we gain the potential to evolve and grow very quickly by seeing how our personal experiences reflect the collective dynamics and intentions of the times as well as the intentions of our soul reflected in our own natal chart. The positioning of the Moon’s nodes as well as how planets form aspects to the Moon’s nodes is one of the most revealing and powerful indicators used in astrological interpretation accross the board of many branches of astrology. In this presentation you will be shown some of the most amazingly simple and yet potently revealing techniques for tuning into the astrology of the Moon and lunar nodes to learn about astrology through direct personal experience.

Maurice · Understanding the Three Zodiacs in Astrology & the Turning of the Ages
Constellations in the sky are not equal in size the same way we define each sign to be 30 equal. The Sun does not rise in Aries on March 21st Spring day of the North despite this point marking the beginning of the zodiac in our chart. There are three different zodiacs: The Tropical (which we are most familiar with at this conference), the Sidereal used more prominently by Vedic astrologers, and the Constellational which is Astronomy based. Confused? You should be… Let us understand these discrepancies between Astrology and Astronomy and examine how the “Great Year”, a cycle of approximately 26,000 years determines the turning of the Ages, as we transition from the age of Pisces to Aquarius.

rick-site2:45 – 4 pm
Rick · Working with Saturn Cycles in Natal Consultations
Sometimes the simplest techniques are the most dramatic. There are several ways to bring Saturn’s power into our astrological work, whether we’re doing a chart for a client, a friend, or just looking at our own chart. This class explores the nuts and bolts of using Saturn in natal interpretations, relationship chart work, and transit analysis. We will learn a couple of speedreading techniques using Saturn and some tried-and-true tricks to get the most out of our chart analysis. Sample charts from class participants will be used to demonstrate the newly-learned tools. After this class, you won’t look at this planet as you have in the past.

In the session we will look more closely at this retrograde how it relates to the current Venus Cycle we have just finished, and the one we are about to begin, as well as consider how this coming Venus Point, the midpoint of the retrograde at 13° Gemini, relates us back to the pivotal years of 2016, 2012, 2008 and 2004.

Nadiya · The Uranus-Saturn Square: Making Sense Of Everything Changing Now
One of the defining major transits of 2021 includes an ongoing series of squares between Uranus and Saturn. Saturn is strongly placed in the sign of its ancient rulership, Aquarius. This move has brought us social distancing, and an expansion of our online selves. Uranus is the modern ruling planet of Aquarius, currently in the sign of Taurus, bringing revolutionary energy to what we value, and our relationship to money. This talk will explore how this important conversation represents experimentation and resistance to the larger, societal and world changes coming later this decade.

In this talk Ari Moshe will unravel these themes in the natal chart focusing predominately on the Saturn Moon relationship in our natal charts and the transit of Saturn in the sky. Come with an open heart and an open chart, ready to examine some of the most intimate and vulnerable places within the collective and personal psyche.

Timothy · Pluto – Shadow Work: The Art of Personal Transformation
Pluto is the catylyst of evolution in our solar-system and personal experience of life. When we go through times of great Pluto influence we evolve and transform very intensely and in a short amount of time. Discovered just one century ago Pluto has only moved through roughly one half-cycle in the time he has been consciously known to us on Earth; An indication of how humanity is still just beginning to understand the depths of the unconscious, how great of an effect the unconscious weighs in our lives, and how the purpose of our full-spectrum experiences here on Earth serves our evolutionary development. Join Timothy in exploring a ‘No Bullshit’ approach to shadow-work as a means to defend one’s self from the toxicity of spiritual bypassing and as an initiation into the soul’s potential to show up in the world as a powerful catylyst of inspirational change.

Julija · The Coming of Age, Moving through Astrological Midlife Cycles (Ages 35-45)

From about the age of 35 we enter one of life’s most significant astrological periods. It all begins with the 2nd pre natal eclipse Saros return, the family of eclipses we were born into, together with our 3rd Jupiter return in our 36th year. This is  followed by our Nodal return at around age 37. Through these significant astro passages, we begin the transition of setting ourselves up for our true calling and purpose, as the shifts and changes ramp up with the once in a lifetime transits of the outer planets. The Neptune square, overlapped with the Uranus opposition and the first Pluto square happening somewhere in-between. All this then finishes up with a confirming Saturn opposition. How do these passages and initiations reveal our soul’s path and the obstacles we need to overcome in order to live life more fully and with purpose. In this session we explore how to find the gold, or guide others to find the gold, through these significant mid-life transits.

Rick · Experiential: The Planets in Your Pocket
Ascension is only one-half the astrology story. We all want to be more cosmic by extending our consciousness into the heavens. But, as the renaissance astrologer, Marsilio Ficino, taught, we have the planets within us, too. Spirit reaches upward; soul pulls the cosmos down into the body. This experiential smorgasbord explores practices of conjuring planetary energy when we need it. All the planets are always in your pocket, waiting for you to reach in and pull out a little (or a lot) of the Sun, the Moon, or whatever planet you need in the moment.

Chiron pierces through the false facade, activating a process of self-awareness, adaptation and transcendence. We’ll explore Chiron in charts that express the inner alchemy made manifest. Nadiya · Mars Rx: Individual Power in a Collective Time
One of the defining 2020 transits will be Mars Retrograde in its home sign of Aries. This can denote a time of individual frustration and consideration as how to best use our power. The ancients considered Mars the god of war. In Jungian terms, he is our animus, the part within that motivates us to take action and own our personal power. So what happens when Mars goes retro? We get to turn this energy inward and decide what true power will be to us. Mars’ properties of self-knowledge become heightened, as we examine the ways in which we have embraced limited concepts of our own sacred masculine within. This class will look at the archetype and symbolism of Mars, as part of understanding what his retrograde could mean for us, individually and for the collective, as we stand on the precipice of a new age.
